Writing is a valuable skill with numerous benefits, not only academically but personally as well. It improves communication skill, sharpens creativity and thought processes, widens our knowledge base and increases confidence. While the idea of writing may feel daunting at first, students find it becomes smooth and enjoyable once they understand the process.
Students will explore a variety of writing formats, including narrative, descriptive, opinion, informative, letter, report and instructional writing tailored to their curriculum requirement

planning, drafting, editing, and publishing
sequencing ideas effectively
describing characters and settings
crafting engaging opening and strong closing
using varied writing techniques
constructing sentences and paragraphs that are coherent and well-structured
Students are encouraged to use their imagination, conduct research and participate in active discussions to develop rich and meaningful content for their writing. Lessons are carefully planned to suit each student's age, ability and learning goals.
